User Guidelines

Five Degrees' User Guidelines are here to guarantee a safe, vibrant online community. Violation of these guidelines may result in your account and/or content being removed or deleted. In addition to these Guidelines, users must be aware of and follow any local laws governing their internet use. We may cooperate with law enforcement agencies, and we reserve the right to monitor and report content to authorities, as permitted by applicable law.

Our Terms of Service and these User Guidelines exist to foster trust, respect, and a positive environment for everyone on our platform.

Information You Choose to Share

While using Five Degrees, you will share information with other users in order to receive or provide services advertised on our platform.

Remember to share cautiously and thoughtfully. Don't publicly broadcast private personal information that could be used by a malicious actor to harm you. Never share your bank account numbers or account passwords. Be cautious and aware of potential scams; if someone asks you to send them money directly or tries to get you to make an investment, it's probably a scam.

Five Degrees outlaws the posting, sharing, or promoting of any of the following:

Material Portraying Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material includes, but is not limited to, visual depictions, including but not limited to photos, videos, and computer-generated imagery, that involve a minor engaging in sexually-explicit conduct.
  • Any sexually explicit content featuring minors or content that sexually exploits minors is prohibited. Five Degrees treats child safety with the utmost seriousness, and any content involving minors that is potentially provocative or contains sexually suggestive acts is strictly prohibited. Such content may be reported to applicable law enforcement agencies in your jurisdiction.
  • Five Degrees also prohibits any material that depicts the exploitation of minors, regardless of a sexual aspect.
  • We encourage users to report any suspected child abuse materials via our email support@fivedegrees.ai

Dangerous Content:

  • Dangerous Content includes the promotion of terrorist organizations and organized crime, the use or sale of illegal weapons, bombs, narcotics, or other regulated goods, and the depiction or encouragement of self-harm and suicide.
  • Any depicted activities illegal under local laws in the jurisdiction from which you access our platform.
  • Material threats against the safety of other users, including threat or intimidation of physical harm.
  • Any form of blackmail, including threatening to release confidential information or private photos of other users, or coercion based on the same principle.
  • Graphic gore, violence, or any content that incites others to commit acts of violence.

Discrimination & Hate Speech

  • DO NOT post, share, or send any content that incites hatred against a group of people based on their race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, culture, disability, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, age, or any other protected class.

Unauthorized Commercial Activities

  • Advertising or running promotions, contests, sweepstakes, gambling, or bookmaking schemes without prior permission from Five Degrees is prohibited.
  • Commercial activities offered through Five Degrees must be legal in the jurisdiction from which you access Five Degrees.
  • Even when legal in your jurisdiction, certain commercial activities, including but not limited to drug or gun sales, are prohibited.

Impersonation, Spam, Scams, and other Misleading Content

  • Five Degrees prohibits the impersonation of another person or organization as well as doxxing other people's personally identifiable information, including addresses, phone numbers, national ID numbers, and more.
  • Using automated or manual means to spam text, videos, audio, or other message or post types is prohibited. A strict zero-tolerance policy is also taken with content that is intended to defraud users, scam users, or constitutes phishing.
  • Financial fraud, including scamming, is strictly prohibited and may be reported to the authorities.

Malicious Activity

  • Measures that interfere with our platform's operations or hack or attempt to hack its website, app, or associated networks are restricted. Users are not allowed to distribute files or software that contain viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, or other technologically malicious material.
  • DO NOT modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, or create any derivative products based on Five Degrees, including any files, tables or documentation, nor attempt to regenerate any source code, algorithms, methods, or techniques embodied in Five Degrees.
  • DO NOT undertake "crawling" or "scraping", whether manually or by automated means, or otherwise use any automated means (including bots, scrapers, and spiders), to view, access, or collect information.
